Perisher
Perisher is the largest alpine resort in the Southern Hemisphere. Nestled in Kosciuszko National Park, Perisher is home to four resort areas, 47 lifts, over 100 trails and more than 3,000 acres of rideable terrain.In winter, Perisher’s four resort areas, Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes, and Guthega are all interlinked by ski and snowboard trails, forming Perisher Resort
Thredbo
Thredbo is Australia’s Best Ski Resort, taking out the prestigious award from the World Ski Awards for seven years running. Thredbo Resort boasts a huge amount of snow terrain for all ages and abilities, a range of amazing lessons and programs to help you get your snow feet, plus Australia’s biggest and best winter events calendar. What’s unique about Thredbo is its beautiful vibrant village right at the base of the mountain with a range of accommodation, restaurants, cafes, and retail shops…keeping you entertained both on and off the mountain.
Mt Selwyn
Selwyn is a family owned and operated snow resort nestled in the NSW Snowy Mountains, just a short and scenic drive from Cooma or Tumut. Selwyn is ideal for beginners or for those who have never seen snow before.
Mt Buller
With over 300 hectares of skiable terrain, there is something to appeal to all levels of ability. The runs range from the wide beginner’s slopes to the challenge of our black runs like Chamois. With 19 lifts, Mt Buller has the largest lift network in Victoria, including thirteen chairlifts (three of which are high speed detachable) two T-bars, two rope tows (counted as one) and magic carpets. The resort features three Terrain Parks designed for all skill levels, with a dedicated snow grooming team to maintain their condition. For plenty of snow play fun, Mt Buller has two toboggan parks, complete with their own snowmaking machines to keep the kids happy all winter long.
Falls Creek
Falls Creek features the largest skiable area in Victoria, with a massive 450 hectares of progression perfect terrain. With 90 runs accessed by 15 lifts, there is something to suit every skier and snowboarder’s ability. For those who are just learning how to ski or snowboard, Falls Creek is the perfect place with easy access chairlifts and a beginner-friendly zone at the Drovers area and on Wombat’s Ramble, Australia’s longest green run at 2.2km
Mt Hotham
Mt Hotham is Australia’s highest alpine village, with some of Australia’s best vistas; from breathtaking misty sunrises to unforgettable 360-degree views of the surrounding rugged mountain ranges. Considered the ‘Powder Capital’ of Australia, Hotham is the only resort in the Southern Hemisphere where the village is located on top of the mountain, ensuring endless awe-inspiring views and ski-in, ski-out opportunities from wherever you are in the village. With 13 chair lifts, 3 terrain parks and 35km of cross-country skiing, Hotham has just what you need, no matter what type of adventure you’re looking for.
