Dolphin Watch Cruises
The picturesque Port Stephens is home to 160 bottlenose dolphins, and there is no better way to meet some friendly neighbours then on-board Moonshadow TQC’s 1.5hr Dolphin Watch Cruise. Cruise around Port Stephens and soak in the scenic harbour sights including the iconic Tomaree headlands. Moonshadow’s vessels are the largest in the area and include triple 360 degree viewing decks, huge boom nets to swim in, waterslides (on most vessels) and underwater cameras to view the marine life at close range (Moonshadow V only). The Dolphin Watch Cruise is a breath taking event you will never forget.
Buffet lunch option … Ask about the buffet lunch served daily on board in-between the morning and afternoon cruises. A hot and cold buffet cooked fresh on board by Chef’s. They have great variety of dishes and can cater for all dietary requirements.
Cruising classroom option … Don’t forget Moonshadow TQC Cruises offer a cruising classroom option, running prior to the morning and afternoon cruises.
Whale Watching Cruises
Port Stephens enjoys an excellent whale season and Moonshadow Explorer is the largest whale watch vessel in the Bay, purpose built for ocean cruises. With two viewing decks you can rest assure you’re getting the best view of these friendly giants.
You will never forget seeing the awesome bulk of a Humpback whale, 15 metres long and weighing 40 tonnes! Being the most surface active of all the whales, it is highly likely that you will see spectacular displays – spyhops, pectoral slaps, body rolls and … the breathtaking breach.
