The Education Centre offers curriculum-linked education programs designed to immerse visiting school-aged students in hands-on geoscientific activity.
Students can expect to explore many aspects of geoscience through hands – on experiments and activities with scientific equipment, computers and first class teaching materials. General and custom-made programs are available to suit individual group needs, ensuring the best possible outcome for students.
Geoscience Australia is home to the National Mineral Collection, which is on permanent public display.
