The earlier we are able to book flights the greater the possibilities are of securing your schools preferred dates, choice of airline, times and securing the best available rates well in advance.
We have listed five tips that make a big difference when considering and securing flights for your next excursion.
1. BOOK EARLY
Flight bookings open 11 months out from the date of travel so the earlier we are able to book seats
- the cheaper the seats are
- the best availability to fly direct
- all students are on the same flight
- higher chances of your preferred dates and times that fit your itinerary perfectly
2. RETURN FORMS
As soon as you receive your flight acceptance forms, review the details and return them to your consultant straight away. Airlines only hold seats for 7 days, any delays in your consultant making these bookings can result in flights being cancelled or other schools booking your seats.
3. TRAVEL TIMES
Peak travel times affect the prices and in general are the most expensive options -be flexible to book flights according to your itinerary. Your consultant may recommend a later flight because we are always mindful of costs and the difference of 3 hrs could mean a saving of $300 per student.
4. ACTION DEPOSITS
As soon as you have returned your flight acceptance forms action the required deposits -flights are not confirmed until deposits are received and are only held for 7 days if your consultant is unable to action deposits within 7 days flights will be released. Remember that flight deposits are non-refundable, and we are bound by the airlines term and conditions once deposited.
5. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
We understand it’s hard to know how many students will join so far in advance but by getting your EOI’s out early it simply means you have a more accurate estimation of attendance numbers and seat deposits can be actioned as soon as the seats become available.
